The History of B-Card Entertainment

B-Card Entertainment started as A-B Conversations with Brock Gorton and Austin Fithen in May 2015. Ten short-length episodes were made, all of which have unfortunately been lost to time. From that original ten episodes, Brock Gorton would start a spin-off podcast called the B-Card, named as such as a nod to pro wrestling and what is called a B show or a secondary show. Brock would continue with B-Card as a solo show and a one-man effort. During this time, a special one-time-only podcast would be made in the spring of 2016 called the Brock Gorton Show would be made and produced as part of NNSN radio as part of North Nation Media.

The podcast would succeed and even nab an award from the Missouri Interscholastic Journalism Association. B-Card would continue with video game content, such as the Pro Wrestling League, which can be found on the current channel. In 2016 a first would happen, however, as the first B-Card Vlogs would be recorded. The first would be a field-storming video after Liberty North defeated Kearney for the first time in football. The second would be Texas Tech vs. Kansas in football, as a certain QB would play for Tech that day. 2017 would be a pivotal year, however, as one Tommy Hailey would join B-Card, and the longest-running show in the history of B-Card would be founded. Big Time Talkers would be brought to life as Brock Gorton and Tommy Hailey would make 39 episodes in 2017 and win another award from the Missouri Interscholastic Journalism Association. This time, it would be for the best podcast. 2018 would be the final see the last episode of BTT to be recorded for nearly three years. The summer of 2018 would see B-Card enter a brave new world as it would no longer have the backing of North Nation Media. And beyond some home run horns, B-Card would slowly wither away.

Until December 2020, when two stream highlights of Call of Duty Black Ops were uploaded, as in November 2020, the B-Card Twitch channel would be launched. Following the success of the Twitch streams and the videos on Youtube. B-Card would return with regular programming with the Kansas City Bandits Franchise. A series that would last from December 5th, 2020, until April 2nd, 2021. However, that would not be the major success to come out during that time as on January 7th, 2021, Heartland Championship Wrestling would debut on B-Card Entertainment, the second longest-running program on B-Card to date, as had 34 shows. Later that year, in July, Big Time Talkers on July 8th, 2021. Big Time Talkers is still going on with 95+ episodes since the relaunch. The first B-Card live stream would feature Brock and Tommy's live reactions to AEW All Out. On September 9th, 2021, We Are Not Entertained would debut with Brock and Tommy as hosts before Brock left. We Are Not Entertained would go on to have 46 episodes before ending in April 2023. September 27th, 2021, would also see the return of the VLOGs to B-Card Entertainment, as Brock had to serve punishment for losing picks. October would see the debut of the long-form VLOGs with BTT One Night Only. That same month would be the debut for Maisie Czirr with B-Card as she appeared in the 17th episode of BTT and stay regular on BTT until late 2022. December of 2021 would be the busiest when it came to video of the BTT crew, as three videos came out highlighting the BTT crew in front of the camera. December 23rd would also see the debut of the Czirr Shit podcast, which has run 19 episodes. February 24th would see the debut of BTT Outspoken, a youtube exclusive to give a glimpse into what B-Card is like without the cameras or mics on. In May 2022, Ben Duncan would debut as part of B-Card Entertainment. Ben would make his BTT debut on June 1st and remains part of Big Time Talkers. On July 1st, 2022 Earning Our Stripes would debut on the B-Card Youtube channel, where it would remain until mid-September when it would move over to EliteTigerSports. B-Card became its 5th member in May of 2023 when Jordan Greenhagen joined the crew as part of the Mavericks VLOG and Omaha Onslaught.
